Upon their arrival from a two-year stint in Africa, Josh and Benj Ramsey joined forces with their best friend Jeremy Hanson to create the band A.F.A. Music has always been a driving force in each of the band member's lives. Forming a band was the next step in fulfilling a lifelong dream and goal for the three friends. A.F.A. has been compared to such bands as Bush and Creed with tones echoing Rage Against the Machine and P.O.D.     Through their music, Jeremy, Josh and Benj long to bring hope to a world of darkness, providing heavy-hitting music that meets people where they live and provides a bit of optimism for those searching for meaning. The high energy and passion behind A.F.A.'s music is fueled by the love and mercy of God rather than the anger, hatred, despair and self-loathing that motivates so many of today's hardcore musicians. Above all, A.F.A. wants to shine brightly in their lives and have fun making music for all to enjoy.     Over the past three and a half years, the band has continued to develop their music while performing around Bozeman, MT and the surrounding area. A.F.A. has continued to broaden their musical abilities, creating a more definite sound of their own. On 3/20/02 the band released their debut album "More to Life". A.F.A. is optimistic about their chances of being signed on with a major recording label. They hope to tour soon as well as do another album. 2003 will be an exciting year for the band as the three guys (and 2 new wives) move to the Seattle area sometime in the summer, the move should give the band many more opportunities to showcase their music to the masses. A.F.A. is eagerly anticipating the future and where their musical careers will lead.
